€3.36 million sanitation works approved for Santa Úrsula and Tacoronte

The Cabildo announced sanitation investments worth around €3.36 million in Santa Úrsula and Tacoronte. The projects expand and modernise sewer infrastructure and promote greater separation between wastewater and stormwater networks.

Major coastal sanitation improvements advance in Mesa del Mar and El Pris

Tacoronte Town Council and the Cabildo de Tenerife are advancing works in the coastal areas of Mesa del Mar and El Pris to improve wastewater collection. At Mesa del Mar, the programme includes a new sewer network and a new underground wastewater pumping station. At El Pris, planned works include extending the sanitation network, replacing existing wastewater wells and connecting coastal buildings to a modern sewer system, with wastewater conveyed through the pumping network towards the Valle de Guerra treatment system.

The overall coastal project investment should not be read as a sanitation-only figure, because part of it also covers other public-space and infrastructure works. This programme complements the specific Mesa del Mar sewer network project and does not by itself indicate current bathing-water quality.
